Generally speaking, poker is played with a 52-card deck. There are a few variations on the standard deck, but they all share the same rules. All hands contain five cards. The highest hand wins the pot.<\/p>\n

A straight flush is made from five cards in the same suit. In some poker games, the ace is treated as the lowest card. The highest possible straight flush is the Royal Flush.<\/p>\n
